Hello from the Ultimate Songwriters Workshop! Just a quick email to let you know that registration is now open, and only the first 100 songwriters who sign up will be accepted this year! This year's workshop dates will be August 1 - 4, 2009.

This year we've added a night of tacos and jam sessions at Big Daddy'z Shack, a catered catfish dinner with all the trimmings ($10 ticket purchased separately), and the big lake party returns on the last day of the workshop. Whether you like to sit on the banks and write, or get out on the wakes and ski, the lake party is the coolest ending to one seriously fun songwriters workshop. We don't call it the Ultimate Songwriters Workshop for nothing!
We're so proud to have our hit songwriters and publishers returning again this year, and also Steve Johnson will be back to share some of his experience with you. Steve was a participant last year who found the sweet spot where, as Barbara Cloyd says, "preparation meets opportunity". After playing his song "White Crosses" for one of our publishers, Steve had his song signed to Southern Cow Publishing.
