Music Buzz Free Lectures this Fall at Allen Library

Bach to Books joins with Collin College to present a series of Monday night programs on “Trends in the Business side of the Music Industry”. This series will provide legal, marketing, and technical considerations for recording and distributing music. This program is free and no reservations are required

October 4 - Craig Crafton  -  "Music and Law: Recent Case Studies"
October 11 - Nick Wheeler - iPad/iPhone Music App Development
October 18 - Jason Martin* - Radio Production Today: a look at the production's inner workings of a top radio show
October 25 - Chris Lund* - Electronic Music Composition from a DJ's perspective.

About Music Buzz:  The Collin College Music Buzz series is a collaborative effort by the Commercial Music Program and the Allen Public Library.  Each Monday at 7 p.m. the Library hosts a different speaker or performing group focusing on an aspect of the music industry.  Now in its second year, the series has featured performances and presentations on artist and venue management, studio musician technique, electronic music technology, studio design and acoustics, and many more.  Please join us for an opportunity to network with area audio and music professionals as well as enjoy the excellent presentations.
